Bag Filling Machines

Bag filling machines fill powder, small-particle and mixed products precisely into 5–50 kg bags. Linear models come with one, two or three nozzles, and rotary fillers can be built with up to ten nozzles.

Packing is often the final link in a mixing line. A bag filled to the wrong weight, or filled in a cloud of dust, causes problems both for the customer and on the production floor. Erk PVC Makine bag filling machines are designed for bagging powder, small-particle and mixed products, with cement-based products, construction products and chemical products as the main applications.

Linear and rotary models

Linear fillers are built with one, two or three nozzles. The nozzles sit side by side and the operator places bags on them in turn, a straightforward solution for mid-capacity lines and tight spaces. When four or more nozzles are needed, a rotary design takes over, and rotary machines can be built with up to ten nozzles. Bags travel around a carousel while filling continues, keeping product flowing on high-volume lines.

Built for awkward products

The machines fill materials ranging from very fine powders to granules precisely into bags of 5 to 50 kg. They are ideal for materials with poor flowability and low density, and they are among the best-suited options for fragile products, filling without breaking down the product structure so that quality is preserved right up to the bag.

Where it sits in the process

A filler is usually positioned below a mixing unit or an intermediate hopper. For powders and chemical products, a ribbon mixer is a common partner on the mixing side. A jet filter can be added to the project to collect dust at the filling point.

Pinning down the right model

  • Is the product a fine powder, granules or a blend?
  • What is the target bag weight, and will you run just one weight?
  • How many bags per hour or per day are needed?
  • Has the bag type already been decided?

The answers determine the number of nozzles and whether a linear or rotary design is the better fit.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

How many nozzles are available?

Linear models have one, two or three nozzles. For four or more nozzles a rotary design is used, built with up to ten nozzles.

What bag weights can be filled?

The machines fill materials from very fine powders to granules precisely into 5–50 kg bags.

Do they handle poorly flowing products?

Yes. They are ideal for materials with poor flowability and low density, and are also well suited to fragile products.
